Why MyHome exists

Most household paperwork lives in too many places at once: an email inbox, a kitchen drawer, photos on a phone, and the memory of whoever happens to deal with it. Nothing is in one place, so when you need a document you go looking for it. And when a renewal date slips past, it can cost real money.

In most homes one person carries that load, often by default. They are the one who knows where the mortgage statement is, when the home insurance renews and when the MOT is due. That is a lot to hold in your head, and it is easy to get wrong.

MyHome is our answer: one private place for the documents that run your home. You add them by uploading a file, taking a photo or forwarding an email. MyHome reads each one, so you can search what is inside it, see the dates and amounts that matter, and ask questions about your own paperwork in plain English. It keeps an eye on expiry dates and reminds you before a renewal or an MOT comes round, so you are not relying on memory.

We are building it for UK households, including couples and families who want to share the load rather than duplicate it. Your documents are encrypted at rest on servers in France, and MyHome is UK GDPR compliant. You can read exactly what that means on our security page.

MyHome is still early, and we are improving it all the time. If something is missing or wrong, please tell us.
