Questions about plans
What counts as a document?
Anything you add to your library: a PDF, a photo, a scan or a screenshot. Each plan has an allowance of documents and of storage: 50 documents and 50MB on Free, 2,000 and 5GB on Pro. Every document is scanned and made searchable by the words inside it, on every plan.
What does Duo add, and who is the partner?
Duo is Pro for two people. You each get your own login over one shared library of 5,000 documents and 10GB, combined, so either of you can find a policy and both of you get the renewal reminders. Your partner is whoever you choose to share your household with. You decide who joins, and if you remove them their access ends immediately.
What is Inbox Watcher, and which plan has it?
Connect your inbox and Inbox Watcher captures documents as they arrive, such as the renewal letter or the completion pack, reads them and files them for you. It is included on Pro and Duo, and not on Free.
What can I ask HomeMind on the Free plan?
HomeMind answers questions about your own documents, such as when your home insurance renews. On Free you can ask 3 questions a week. Pro and Duo have unlimited questions.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. You can start on Free and upgrade in the app when you want more. If you move to Free later, nothing is deleted. Documents over the Free allowance stay readable; you can’t add more until you’re under it or upgrade.
Is my data used to train AI?
No. MyHome reads your documents to organise your library and answer your questions. They are never used to train models, and we never sell your data or share it with advertisers or brokers.
Where is my data stored?
On servers in the EU, in France, and encrypted at rest. MyHome is UK GDPR compliant, including the right to erasure: delete your account and your documents are gone, not archived.
